Creating QR Codes

For those times you wish you could have a way for the players to get the information in their hands, NOW! Don't just give them a generic Promo Code, give them a link directly to the product!

My preferred tool to create QR codes is QRCode Monkey. QRCode Monkey is one of the most popular free online QR code generators with millions of already created QR codes. The high resolution of the QR codes and the powerful design options make it one of the best free QR code generators on the web.

QRCode Monkey has the to not only create codes to direct people to a web page, but it also offers the ability to create:

  • Text

  • Email

  • Phone

  • SMS

  • VCard

  • MeCard

  • Location

Selkirk Grip Comparison Guide

For those who do not use an over grip, the choice of paddle grip can play a determining factor in paddles selection. The resource provides a Selkirk grip comparison.

Determining a Players Paddle NEEDS

Some players "think" they NEED in a particular paddle. But that is often a want more than a need. This flyer is an attempt to assist the player in determining what the currently NEED in their next paddle.

Which Type of Paddle Do You Need?

Figuring out which paddle is best for someone can be difficult. It all depends on what they want and need from their paddle. This resource offers a guide to figuring out the type of paddle, and the Selkirk paddles which meet those needs.

Demo Day Paddle Questionnaire

When you want a better picture of where a player fits in the Selkirk lineup, this survey can help.

A lot of people do not want to take the time to complete a survey like this (although some people do like to show others how good they really are). I recommend letting them know that Selkirk would like for us to get a better picture of their abilities for selecting the right paddle. This can elevate some of the trepidation people have.

Notice at the bottom, the last questions is if they would like to be contacted after the demo day. This is a wonderful way to build a client base.

Pickleball Advocacy's Recommended Demo Paddle Lineup

Not that anyone necessarily asked for my opinion (anyone who knows me understands that I have one for almost anything), but I thought I would share my thoughts on a recommended paddle lineup (the paddles you may want to consider adding to your arsenal).

I have listed the paddles in the order of significance to you and your customers. A combination of customer interest/return on investment/demographics, etc. I suggest starting at the top and add the paddles down the list as you can afford them. The upper list is what I would consider necessities. The second list are the paddles that should be added as you earn additional funds.

Let me know where I was gravely mistaken.

Retired Demo Paddles

You have been acquiring demo paddles to complete a set of paddles for your players to try. But now, those paddles have been discontinued and has reached their "End of Life". So, what do you do with all of those paddles?

Discontinued demo paddles can be:

  • Donated to a group you feel can use them

  • Sold! (Yes, this is an option!)

    • When paddles are discontinued, Selkirk doesn't worry about reselling at that point.
